HIGH MOVEMENT BRIDGE EXPANSION JOINT

The patented (E.E.) high movement bridge deck expansion joint is used to accommodate “lively” imposed movements within highway bridgedecks, ranging from 35mm – 100mm. The joint consists of twin metal rails held into position with two flexible hot poured nosings of Permatrack H. The metal rails have a profiled compression seal inserted between them, which is able to compress and extend without any sideways distortion.
R.A.B (E.E) Expansion Joints are installed into recesses formed centrally over existing joint gaps, after the road surface is completed, or any failed joint system that has been removed.
